Estypel is the oldest tour agency in Lagunas and one of the two that is officially registered. All our guides contribute to the protection of Pacaya-Samiria’s ecosystem and are very experienced and knowledgeable. We enter the reserve with a canoe; a motor is not used so as not to scare off wildlife. Further down into the reserve it is possible to make a hike on any of the jungle trails. The guides will also take you out at night to spot night animals. If you are interested you may learn about the many medicinal plants and trees or you could improve your skills at piranha spear fishing!
